List of Firsts

As I have had a lot of 1st time experiences, I've decided to make a list of them. Here goes...

  1. Having an English cream tea
  2. Being greeted continental style
  3. Ordering a drink from a bar (and not being ID'd)
  4. Opening a bank account and NOT dreading using it
  5. Living in a communal area
  6. Flying on my own
  7. Navigating the tube and 2 terminals with 140 lbs of luggage
  8. Going 25 hours without sleep and 20 hours without food (not recommended)
  9. Cooking for myself and not screwing anything up
  10. Being dehydrated for an extended period of time
  11. Looking at prices when I buy things
  12. Starting pretty much everything over
  13. Tesco's on Saturday afternoon (not recommended, unless you enjoy long queues)
  14. Wild foxes
  15. Buying alcohol from a grocery store
  16. Ordering a drink from a bar (and being ID'd)
  17. Cooking for others and being complimented (so what if it was just break and bake cookies?)
  18. Using a radiator
  19. Seeing aeroplanes and not feeling any jealousy or admiration for the people on board
  20. Bouncers
  21. Confusion over my ID
  22. Being served the wrong drink
As the year's not over, expect more things to be added!

  4. yup! it's been really busy.

we've just finished our first week of classes, which went really well. it's been a lot of little getting bits and pieces together tough, especially with the phone and bank account. fortunatly, i'm starting to get setted in, so i should have more time to update and upload!

    Glad to hear from you!
